- About:
- "This album is a conceptual live recording. It was made with electronic instruments like modular systems, synthesizers, drum machines and electric piano, all recorded live in the studio. I also recorded my voice using the Dronin's piezo microphone (homemade instrument from Sardinia) processed with a spring reverb to create ritual atmospheres. I used polyphonic synthesizers to make pads and leads except for "The Temple Garden" where you can hear the Rhodes piano played by Luca Santarelli.
For this "Ritual Journey" album I was inspired by pioneers of electronic music such as Brian Eno, Jean-Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulze and also by the World Music genre, particularly for percussion instruments like toms, congas, djembe, maracas and more from African culture.
Over the past few months my mind was filled with landscapes and places "out of this world" so I felt that they needed a soundtrack to take them out of my head! You probably can't see them when you listen to the album, but you can create yours.
Each track has been composed and recorded in one day to create a perfect coalition between my soul and the instruments used in that moment, I believe this is the formula to express myself in the best way.
Lock yourself up in your listening room or wear your headphones, press play and don't stop the music for a perfect trip!"
